Lito was back!

He walked slowly into our church, an anxious smile on his face. He was greeted with tears and warm hugs from the folks who remembered him. Lito was back!

Lito and his faithful wife turned to the Lord about sixteen years ago when their pre-school son fell onto a rebar which went right through his body. Luis nearly died of infection, but the Lord spared him. Lito and Maria and their three sons were active in our church for several years. Lito was even elected a deacon.

About four years ago, however, he started to hang out with his old buddies and gradually left the church. His teen-aged boys followed. Maria stayed firm in her faith, suffering terribly as she watched the four of them ignore the Lord and live the consequences. Luis struggled the worst. He was finally taken to a rehab center for a seven month program. The next Sunday, the family was at church - and the next. Afterwards, Lito attended a cell group prayer time, asking the Lord to forgive him and interceding for his family. They have been faithful ever since. Luis finished seven months of rehabilitation and now also attends church. Please pray earnestly for this beloved family - especially for Luis.
